Obama craft Christmas visit to US troops in Hawaii

The US President Barack Obama went Hawaii with his family to celebrate Christmas. In the mean time, Obama plan to visit US troops and their families in Hawaii with his wife Michelle Obama. President Obama and his wife spent time on Christmas Day thanking servicemen at Kaneohe Marine Corps Base in Hawaii.
The President and Michelle Obama went to the base to shake hands, hold babies and pose for pictures with hundreds of US sailors and marines. Many of the Marines those who are stationed at the base deployed to Afghanistan also by Iraq, where the last American troops were withdrawn earlier this month.  
The president also called 10 service members to station around the world where two from each branch of the military for the Christmas Eve. The White House news said Obama has thanked them for their service and the sacrifice of being away from their families at the holidays.

The Obamas had spend the day early to exchange gifts, the White House added, then Obama had breakfast and sang Christmas carols at the multimillion-dollar house they rent in Kailua Beach, near Honolulu.
